The Banff And Buchan Amateur Radio Club takes part in the RSGB SSB Field day every year, in 2003 we did very well, we were ranked the Highest GM station and 15th in the Restricted Section, so of course our target for this year is to try and place higher.

Special Events

Over the years the Banff And Buchan Amateur Radio Club has done many special event stations from many different places around the North East coast of Scotland.

Including:

GB4GM - International Marconi Day Station from Fraserburgh Heritage Centre.

GB2MSL - International Lighthouses and Lightships weekend station from Kinnaird Head Lighthouse Fraserburgh.
